SC6 Organization and Communication will be part of the AFE
2026Associations and Media
The Spanish subsidiary of Infopro Digital Trade Shows joins the Spanish Trade Trade Shows Association as a full member
SC6 Organization and Communication, the entity responsible for organizing C!Print Madrid, has been admitted as a new full member of the Spanish Trade Shows Association (AFE). Following unanimous approval by its Board of Directors, the AFE now has 54 member members.
The integration of SC6 represents a significant step within the national trade fair ecosystem, reinforcing the representation of professional event organizers in Spain and adding the experience of a project with strong roots in the field of printing, visual communication and personalization.
SC6 Organization and Communication is the Spanish subsidiary of Infopro Digital Trade Shows, a division of the French group Infopro Digital, specializes in developing information, technology, content, and event platforms for professionals. The group operates in more than 20 countries, has over 4,000 employees, and organizes more than 40 trade fairs and 200 industry events annually in various markets.
The Iberian subsidiary was established in 2014 and is the driving force behind C!Print Madrid, an event that this year celebrates a decade of uninterrupted activity at IFEMA Madrid. The event has become a leading event for the graphic arts industry, including marking and personalization, visual communication, materials and media, as well as packaging, labeling, technology, and software applied to the sector.
For Xabier Basañez, president of the Spanish Trade Fair Association, this addition reinforces the role of the sector in the national context:
“We welcome SC6 Organización y Comunicación as a new member of our association. Their addition further strengthens the representation of the trade fair ecosystem in Spain, a sector that continues to demonstrate remarkable consolidation and competitiveness on the international stage.”
In this context, the AFE also recalls the recent publication of a study by the German consultancy JWC, which places Spain in a prominent fifth position within the world ranking of trade fair markets, based on a multidimensional analysis that considers factors such as demand, competitiveness, infrastructure capacity, ecosystem maturity and business conditions.
This ranking places Spain behind China, the United States, France and Germany, and ahead of markets such as Italy, the United Arab Emirates, India, the Netherlands and Singapore, highlighting the country's strategic importance in the international trade fair industry.
For their part, the organizers of C!Print Madrid emphasize that:
"SC6 Organización y Comunicación's membership in the Spanish Trade Shows Association (AFE) is a natural step in our commitment to the development of the sector in Spain. Being part of AFE allows us to actively contribute to strengthening the national trade fair ecosystem, share knowledge, and continue promoting meeting spaces that generate real value for companies and professionals. Furthermore, we firmly believe in the role of trade fairs as drivers of innovation, connection, and sectoral growth. Joining AFE reinforces our commitment to supporting the sector from a collaborative perspective, aligned with the challenges and opportunities of the Spanish market."
The AFE, established in 1964 as a non-profit organization, currently has 54 members and represents approximately 90% of trade fair activity in Spain. According to its estimates, the sector generates an annual economic impact of €13.6 billion and contributes €6.9 billion to the national GDP, in addition to supporting more than 124,400 direct and indirect jobs.
