SureColor SC-P7500 and SC-P9500 Large Format Printers, Versatility and Quality
Regular exhibitor at C!Print Madrid , Epson , has recently announced the launch of its first 12-color large-format printers, featuring the brand’s widest color gamut and 99% Pantone coverage: These are the SureColor SC-P7500 (24″) and SC-P9500 (44″) printers , and are the most suitable choice for artists and photographers because they offer reliable reproduction, allowing for professional print proofs and excellent performance in high production volumes. These two large-format printers are combined with Epson’s recently developed UltraChrome Pro12 ink set . Thanks to K3 technology, this set allows printing with both black inks at the same time and adds orange, green and violet so that the user can print with greater color accuracy.
Designed for various applications
- Professional photography and fine art reproductions require the highest print quality to appeal to discerning buyers. In addition to Epson's 12-color ink set, advanced print heads use up to 800 nozzles per color to achieve precise stippling and eliminate misprints. The μTFP12 print head , which offers 300 dpi resolution and 12 channels , enables fast, high-quality output. Applied to images, this results in smooth gradations and accurate texture reproduction. Enhanced Second Black Layer technology enables deeper blacks, producing more dramatic, impactful printed images. For users who value true creative freedom and need to print in a wide variety of formats, the SC-P7500 (24″) and SCP9500 (44″) printers support fine art papers, canvas, photo paper and other media.
- Packaging and print proofing , where precision is critical, Epson has raised the bar for print proofing. Thanks to color calculation, verification, and correction technologies, users can work more efficiently and with high confidence. By using a SpectroProofer device with a spectrophotometer, color calculation is streamlined and optimized, and color control during on-site proofing is fully automated. In short, results can be predicted without any margin of error.

Marc Boehmer, product manager pro photo/printer, Epson Europe, says:
“To offer a truly innovative product, we must take into account the real needs of customers. In this way, we create printers without unnecessary technologies to focus on the most important problems of their regular users. By following this principle, I believe we have achieved something very important: offering users greater creative freedom and new business opportunities.” He also adds: “Being able to offer 12-color photo printers is something completely new for Epson. These devices also provide amazing print speeds, quality results, and an easy-to-use interface. Everything has been designed to work in perfect harmony. It's a complete solution that includes printers, inks, media, software, and support.”
