Neobis presents the new collective agreement for the sector

Objective: to preserve the stability of the sector and promote a sustainable framework for labor relations


Neobis, the graphic communication association and partner of C!Print Madrid, which will hold its next edition from January 12 to 14, 2027, at IFEMA, has announced that the business associations FEIGRAF, AFCOand PUBLISHERS' GUILD and the representation of the workers FSC – CCOO. The majority union at the negotiating table has signed the agreement for the new text of the COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR GRAPHIC ARTS, CARDBOARD PROCESSING, PAPER PROCESSING, PUBLISHING AND AUXILIARY INDUSTRIES.

After more than nine months of negotiations, developed in a particularly complex context, an agreement has been reached as a result of an important exercise in responsibility, dialogue and seeking a balance between the different positions defended during the process, with the sole objective of preserving the stability of the sector and promoting a sustainable framework of labor relations.

The necessary procedures will be carried out with the competent Labor Authority for the registration and, where applicable, publication of the new text. The main changes included therein are as follows:

  • Valid for 4 years.
  • Salary increase for this period, with a review clause based on the CPI, with a cap.
  • Reduction of 8 hours to the maximum annual working hours.
  • Elimination of salary level 19.
  • Possibility of 12 hours per year for accompanying someone to a medical appointment in specific cases.
  • Two working committees are created:
    • Professional classification adaptation committee
    • Commission to study the increase in temporary disabilities
  • Possibility of accumulating 100% of union hours, under the agreed conditions.
  • Inclusion of new offenses and sanctions in the disciplinary regime.
