X-trong Laser Technologies SL develops a range of products to meet the needs of the medium-high power laser cutting and engraving market. It adapts its machines' laser cutting and engraving technology to different applications proposed by the industry.
All of its products meet the highest market demands. They also comply with European Union standards regarding regulations, safety, performance, and component quality.

Laser Machines

X-trong X1612 Model

Among its most successful range of self-produced laser machines is the X-trong X1612 model . This is a CO2 laser engraving and cutting machine with a 360° visible working area from the outside. It features a high-strength aluminum external structure, temperature sensors in mirrors, and smoke or fire detection sensors inside the machine.

X-trong X2515 Model

Another highly sought-after product is the X-trong X2515, which ranges from 150W to 1000W . This CO2 laser engraving and cutting machine features a 360° visible work area. This machine is suitable for engraving and cutting on non-metallic materials that require speed and quality, as well as the flexibility to have higher power at any time without changing the optical system.
Its high-strength aluminum external structure is capable of absorbing motion vibrations caused by acceleration. It also features an intelligent temperature control system in the optical system. It features steel wire-reinforced belts for greater precision in the headrest, and guides and skids for smooth bridge movement.

In addition to manufacturing laser cutting and engraving machinery, X-trong laser manufactures 3D printers and offers consulting services.

The CPrint Madrid exhibitor was recently interviewed in La Vanguardia, where he explained his career, positioning, and strategy within the cutting and engraving technology solutions market for industry:

X-Trong Laser Technologies SL designs and develops laser cutting and engraving technology. Its solutions are applied to different industrial sectors and are recognized for offering the highest quality and versatility. We spoke with its two founders, Jordi Ruiz and Alfonso Barion. First, let's get our bearings. When and where was X-Trong Laser Technologies SL founded?

In 2017, after spending a couple of years researching and developing prototypes, we found the product we were looking for, one that met the features and quality the market required. That's when we created X-Trong Laser Technologies SL. What previous experience in the laser cutting and engraving sector did you have? We met about 10 years ago, working for a large laser machinery distribution company, handling a wide variety of machine models, ranging from low-performance Chinese imports to the best European and American brands.
What was the market gap you wanted to fill? What advantages did you have over the competition?

Our main advantage is that we closely understand the market needs and, at the same time, we know the most efficient solutions to fill them. Thus, we saw that the market niche that remained to be filled was that of large-format laser machines with medium-high power between 150W and 1000W, fully enclosed with Class 1 laser classification, high-speed cutting and engraving capabilities, and advanced technology in sensors and Industry 4.0.

You emphasize the fact that your technology is developed in Barcelona.

Yes, Barcelona is recognized worldwide as a pioneer in the implementation of cutting-edge technology and design. Many pioneering technology companies are located in Barcelona, allowing us to collaborate with them to develop our products.

Let's talk about this technology you develop. What products do you currently market?

Currently the most demanded product is the X-trong X2515 from 150W to 1000W, as well as our X-trong X1612 model with a smaller working area, but with the same characteristics. Both models stand out for their large number of available accessories, among which we highlight the double head, recognition camera, non-metallic surface tracking head, etc. making them the most versatile models on the market. We also deal with the research, design and development of new solutions and resolution of specific problems that our clients may have in their production phase, such as the integration of laser systems in manufacturing processes , as well as technical support for laser machine solutions.
Are you planning to expand your product range?

Yes, next year we will introduce our new model, which combines fiber laser cutting technology with CO2 laser cutting technology, allowing us to cut all types of materials with the same machine, whether ferrous, non-ferrous, organic, etc.

What stage of development is this new model in?

It's very advanced; the new structure, designed specifically for this application, is ready. We're currently finishing testing different laser resonators and linear motion systems to achieve maximum performance and cutting quality, as well as the sensor system for connecting the machine to Industry 4.0.

What type of customers are your products designed for? What sectors do they cover?

Our products are geared toward industry and large-scale production, for sectors as varied as automotive, textiles, wood, packaging, plastics, signage, light panels , etc., always meeting the demanding needs of these sectors in terms of quality, reliability, precision, and regulations. Y

our international expansion is worth mentioning... Which countries have you already expanded to?

We've been present at trade shows in France and Germany, where we already have installed machines. We're currently looking for distributors to expand to the rest of the EU and Central and South American countries.
